Youth Violence Discussed at the
4th Annual Legacy Forum

On November 19, 2008 LGW members and guests came together to tackle one of the most important issues facing the Greater Washington Region, the safety and well-being of our youth. Leadership Greater Washington's Class of 2008 assembled experts, including DC's Chief of Police Cathy Lanier, who spoke to the impact of youth and violence, and how we as a community can collaborate to positively influence the lives of youth in the metropolitan region. Thank you to everyone who participated in this effort as we added another voice calling for solutions, big or small, to an issue that reverberates through every facet of our community.
