LGW's 23rd Year Launches at October 23rd Luncheon

Leadership Greater Washington kicked off the 2008-2009 program year with its annual Fall Membership Luncheon at the JW Marriott, Washington, DC on Thursday, October 23, 2008. Attended by over 540 top regional leaders, the event's highlights were the induction of the Class of 2008, heartfelt remarks from Joseph Boone (a Youth Leadership Class of 2008 member) and "success stories" presented by members of effective connections made through the organization. The event ended with a high-spirited confetti launch to officially start the new program year.

Tom D'Amato ('96) is the organization's Board of Directors Chair; Diana Mayhew ('07) is the Special Events Chair and Julie Rosenthal ('02) is the Resource Development Chair. LGW thanks these leaders for their extraordinary efforts; the luncheon was the most successful yet for the organization, both in terms of attendance and fundraising.
